Easy recipe for chocolate cupcake, known as party food, loved by kids,
many variations and decoration about it’s looking. At basically a cupcake is a
small cake designed to serve one person, which may be baked in a small thin
paper or aluminium cup. Cupcakes are usually baked in muffin tins. These pans
are most often made from metal, with or without a non-stick surface, and
generally have six or twelve depressions or "cups". They may also be
made from stoneware, silicone rubber, or other materials. Chocolate cupcakes
are simple to make and popular treats among chocoholics, and for this time we want to share a simple and easy chocolate cupcake recipe.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup cocoa
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- ½ cup warm water
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ¼ cup canola oil
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions :
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line cupcake trays with cupcake liners.
- Sift cocoa, flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
- Add the egg, water, buttermilk, oil and vanilla extract and mix with an electric beater for +/- 3 minutes.
- Using a 1/3 cup measure, scoop mixture into prepared cupcake trays.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes. To test if ready, prick cupcake with a toothpick and if it comes out clean with no mixture on, then the cupcakes are ready.
- Cool for at least 30 minutes before icing.
- Serve for 16 portions.
